Deposit & Other Info
We require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 250.00 by POSTAL MONEY ORDER to hold a pup that is less then six weeks old. Deposit goes toward purchase price of pup. The deposit is a legal & binding contract and states you agree with the terms set forth on this page, so READ IT ALL THOROUGHLY! Deposit MUST be mailed in a trackable method, w/tracking number emailed to us along with buyers name, address, & all phone numbers. Ask me about acceptible payment methods prior to putting down a deposit.
Transportation & Payment Terms
Shipping is 275.00 to most major airports in the US & some in Canada (NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE US OR CANADA, NO EXCEPTIONS!). VIP air shipping is well over $300. Van services start at 250.00. Of course, everyone is encouraged to come here to pick up their pup and see the pup's parents if at all possible.
If you're having your pup shipped, final payment due by the time pups are 7 weeks. Ask me about what payment methods I will accept for final payment depending upon each situation. If failure to pay on time causes me major problems, buyer may have to pay higher shipping. If buyer hasn't made final payment by time pup is 8 wks (unless previous arrangements have been made) buyer will forfeit deposit. If picking up your pup here, we accept cash only at time of pick up.
PUPPY GUARANTEE & CONTRACT
To be eligible for the following guarantee, Buyer must take pup for a vet check within 3 BUSINESS DAYS of purchase or guarantee is VOID. This guarantee IS NOT transferrable to anyone other then original buyers. If pup has MAJOR problems during guarantee period, seller should be notified IMMEDIATELY and BE INCLUDED IN DECISION MAKING PROCESS pertaining to the medical care for the pup, OR GUARANTEE IS VOID. Seller not responsible for any vet bills while pup is in buyer's possession.
Seller gives 1 year guarantee against hereditary or congenital defects (guarantee ends when pup turns one year old). Buyer responsible for all expenses incurred in return of pup (or proof of death of pup). Proof of problem is to be sent to Seller ASAP, and Buyer will get replacement pup of equal value when one becomes available. At that time, proof of up-to-date vet care (shots and other routine vet care) may also be required to rule out neglect.
Should puppy die from communicable disease (this does not include parasites or hypoglycemia) within 14 days of purchase and buyer promptly sought treatment by certified veterinarian, and if said veterinarian certifies in writing that he/she says the pup was exposed to the disease PRIOR to leaving our kennel, buyer will get FULL refund of PURCHASE PRICE of puppy within 45 days of certification of death. Buyer must send certification (autopsy required only if vet is unsure of cause of death) to Seller within 4 weeks of pup‘s death.
Pup is not guaranteed to be a good breeder but males sold for breeding are guaranteed until 6 months of age against un-descended testicles. Pup to be returned by 7 months of age, replacement pup of equal value sent at buyer’s expense when one becomes available.
NOTE: There is no guarantee on the temperament of pup after the sale. There is no guarantee against stress, hypoglycemia, fleas, hernias, or parasites after the sale. These factors are not under Seller's control and are easily treatable by your vet during routine office visits. We strive to eliminate or prevent these problems but sometimes despite our best efforts, a problem will surface after the sale.
If Buyer cannot keep pup for any reason, Seller reserves the right to take the dog back for the life of the dog, Buyer will be refunded up to half of the purchase price (plus up to $150 toward actual shipping) either when dog and all paperwork are provided the Seller, OR when Seller finds pup a new home. Buyer CAN find dog a new home only if Seller cannot take the dog back and approves the new home.
